A TEENAGER has been assaulted in the Borders, say police.
The incident happened between 7pm-7.45pm on Thursday (March 16) on a path between Hawick’s Galalaw Road and the B6359/A7.
The 16-year-old boy was approached by two people with their faces covered who demanded his possessions and assaulted him, according to officers.
They then left on foot in the direction of the A7.
