A BORDERS supermarket is aiming to offer its customers a recycling reward.
An application has been submitted to Scottish Borders Council to install a new reverse vending machine DRS (Deposit Return Scheme) at Duns Co-op.
Scotland’s Deposit Return Scheme has been designed to make it easy for us all to do the right thing when it comes to recycling.

People pay a small deposit of 20p when they buy a drink in a single-use container and then get the deposit back when they return the empty bottle or can.
A Co-op spokesperson said: “The proposed installation of a new reverse vending machine would include a secure external enclosure located to left of store entrance lobby.
"It would be coloured vinyl wrap to match the existing wall finish.”
