A COUNTY respite centre is hosting a recruitment open day to help find carers to join the team.
Leuchie House is Scotland’s national respite centre, providing care and short breaks for people living with neurological conditions such as stroke or motor neurone disease.
The charity, based near North Berwick, is looking to recruit care assistants and housekeepers.
Jim Liddle, senior care practitioner at Leuchie House, said: “The number of opportunities here are endless, so it really is a fantastic way to build a career that you can be proud of.
“It changed my life, and I’m sure it could change others.”
The event takes place tomorrow (Friday) between 1pm and 2pm at the centre.
Those who cannot make it can call 01620 892864 for more information on recruitment.
