POLICE are looking to trace a man following a fire at public toilets in the Borders.
The incident saw loo roll deliberately set alight at Peebles’ East Station car park facilities.
It is believed to have happened between 5pm-7pm on Sunday (April 2).

Police Constable Vivienne Carlsey, of Peebles police office, said: “A plastic toilet holder, along with the toilet paper, was set on fire deliberately.
“Thankfully, the fire was discovered quickly, as this could have caused significant damage.
“We are keen to trace a man who was seen entering the building.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 3217 of Sunday, April 2, 2023.”
