BEING abusive towards police officers resulted in a £200 fine for a Newtown St Boswells man.
Thirty-three-year-old Brian Pollock pleaded guilty to shouting and swearing and uttering threats towards police officers in Eildon Terrace on January 4.
A not guilty plea to a domestic-related charge of threatening or abusive behaviour was accepted by the Crown.
In addition to the fine Pollock was ordered to pay a £10 victim surcharge.
