EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious road crash on the A1 between the Thistly Cross and Spott Roundabouts near Dunbar.
The road is closed in both directions.
Local diversions are in place.
UPDATE:
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:"Around 2.55 am on Monday, 24 April 2023, police were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A1, between the Thistly Cross and Spott Roundabouts, near Dunbar.
"Emergency services remain at the scene and enquiries are continuing. The road is closed in both directions with local diversions in place."
UPDATE 9.30am : A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Servive said: “We received a call at 0250 hours today to attend an incident on the A1 between Edinburgh and Dunbar. We dispatched two ambulances to the scene.”
