A BORDERS music event is returning this summer and will be a "show like no other".

Roxburghe Rocks will take over the grounds of Floors Castle in Kelso in August and will feature the music of some the world's favourite musicians.

Come rain or shine the open-air festival will welcome visitors of all ages to enjoy a day of familiar tunes.

On Saturday, August 5 from 1-9pm tribute acts to some of the world's best loved performers will take to the stage – including 21st Century Queen, Mardy Bums (Arctic Monkeys tribute), Definitely Oasis, and UK Fleetwood Mac.

Jaap Röell, managing director for the Roxburghe Estates said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring this fantastic open-air festival back to Floors.

"Last year was an enormous success when we all rocked to the music of Abba, Queen and Elton John.

"This year, Queen’s music is back once more but with another galaxy of stellar tribute bands.

"The whole event is just getting bigger and better and we can’t wait to celebrate summer again.”

Well known songs such as Queen's classic We Will Rock You, Artic Monkeys' Do I Wanna Know, and Fleetwood Mac's anthem The Chain, will have the crowd singing along.

As well as a great day of music, visitors to Floors will also be able to enjoy a range of catering vendors, as well as additional entertainment throughout the day which is yet to be confirmed.

Visitors are advised to dress appropriately for the Borders weather, and chairs and blankets are welcome at the festival.

Early bird tickets are now on sale for £35 per adult and £25 for children.

Tickets can be bought online or at Floors Castle from the Apple Shed Gift Shop.

Accessible tickets are also available, as well as free carer admission.
