AN 18-YEAR-OLD man has admitted possessing an imitation firearm, namely a Retay 9mm Blank Firing Pistol, in a public place – without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
Finlay Macgregor, of Bright Street, Hawick, committed the offence in the town’s Commercial Road on June 18, 2021.
Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court for a personal appearance. The case will recall on May 9.
