REPAIRS to a Peeblesshire bridge are scheduled for completion in early May.
Work began on the structure which crosses Eddleston Water, just off the A703, late last year.
A Scottish Borders Council spokesperson said: “The works to Eddleston Village Bridge are a combination of accident damage repairs and refurbishment of the bridge walls to improve their condition.
“The works are progressing well and nearing completion, with reopening of the bridge targeted for early May.
"We are grateful for the patience and understanding of people affected by these necessary works.”
