Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the A68 road just south of St Boswells according to Traffic Scotland.
Traffic is restricted in both directions and is building back.
Update 7.15pm: A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash on the A68 south of St Boswells around 6.25pm on Monday, 1 May.
"Two people have been taken to hospital and the road is currently closed."
