POLICE in the Scottish Borders are appealing for help to trace Bruce Dodds, 51, who is missing from Galashiels.

He was last seen around 5.35am on Saturday April 29 2023 walking on Glenfield Road in the direction of the town centre.

It’s thought he may have travelled to the Wooler area of Northumberland.

He hasn’t been in contact with friends or family and concern is growing for his welfare.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue trousers and brown boots (pictured).

Sergeant Lynsey Thomson said: “It’s out of character for Bruce to be missing and we’re appealing for help as we try to trace him.

“Anyone who thinks they may have been Bruce since around 5.35am on Saturday, please get in touch.

“Bruce, if you see this appeal, please let us know you’re safe and well.”
