A 38-YEAR-OLD man sat a DVSA driving theory test pretending to be someone else, Selkirk Sheriff Court has been told.
Osman Mohamad presented a provisional driving licence at the DVSA premises in Ladhope Vale, Galashiels, on October 18, which was in the name of Raafat Bakdaliah and completed the test on his behalf.
Mohamad, of Pemberley Road, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to making a false statement in order to sit the test and was fined £300 with a £20 victim surcharge.
