A 46-YEAR-OLD man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl at a fast food takeaway in Galashiels has been ordered to carry out 190 hours of unpaid work as part of a community payback order.
Mostafa Barzeghar, who gave an address in Edinburgh, was also made subject of the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act for the next five years at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
He pleaded guilty to the offence involving the 17-year-old female at Mario's in Marigold Bank in July 2021.
