A LORRY driver has been issued a fixed penalty notice following a crash on a major Borders road, say police.
Officers attended the incident which took place on the A7 between Burnfoot and Mosspaul Inn just after 5pm on Wednesday (May 24).
The route was temporarily closed following the collision, according to Traffic Scotland.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended a one-vehicle crash involving a lorry which happened on the A7 between Burnfoot and Mosspaul Inn at around 5.05pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
“The lorry driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice.”
