EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a crash on the A703, just north of Peebles shortly before 5pm this evening (Tuesday May 30 2023).
Unconfirmed reports suggest that two vans collided near to the Cringletie turn off.
Officers were called to the locus at 4.50pm and were still in attendance one hour later.
The road is passible with care but may have to close to allow for recovery of the vehicles.
At 5.50pm a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.50pm on Tuesday, 30 May, police were called to a report of a road crash on the A703, north of Peebles.
“Officers are currently in attendance.”
