A 75-YEAR-OLD woman has been taken to Borders General Hospital following a one-car crash, say police.

The incident took place on the A707 near Caddonfoot on Wednesday afternoon (May 31).

The road was closed following the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a one-car crash which happened on the A707 near Caddonfoot at around 2.05pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

“Emergency services attended and a 75-year-old woman was taken to Borders General Hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“The road was closed while recovery was arranged.”
