PASSENGERS on a bus travelling between Galashiels and Melrose were made to "feel uncomfortable" by a man's behaviour.
Police received a report of a man "acting suspiciously" on the number 74 Borders Buses service between the Interchange in Galashiels and Melrose on Tuesday, May 30.
Officers are now appealing for more information about the incident.
Sharing to social media, Scottish Borders Police said: "We are appealing following a report of a man acting suspiciously on a bus going from Galashiels to Melrose.
"The man, described as aged over 60, got on the Borders Bus Service No 74 at the Interchange bus station in the centre of Galashiels around 5.05pm on Tuesday, 30 May.
"Police received a report of him behaving in a manner that made other passengers feel uncomfortable.
"He was asked to leave by the bus driver and did so."
Anyone who was on the bus or saw anything "out of the ordinary" is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2734 of Wednesday, 31 May, 2023.
