EMERGENCY Services were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash in the Berwickshire village of Gordon yesterday afternoon (Thursday June 15 2023).

The vehicles, believed to have been a van and a car were badly damaged but thankfully neither driver was injured.

There was minor disruption to the traffic in both directions but the road remained open with officers directing traffic until arrangements were made for the recovery of the vehicle.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: We were made aware of a crash involving two vehicles on Station Road in Gordon around 4.40pm on Thursday June 15.

There were no reports of injuries and recovery was arranged for the vehicles.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1635hrs yesterday (15 June) to attend a road traffic collision in Gordon.

"We dispatched two divisional crews and there was no requirement to take anyone to hospital.”
