BORDERERS Finn Douglas and Corey Tait were both on the scoresheet as Scotland U20 secured their second victory of the World Rugby U20 Trophy beating USA U20s 40-13.
Scotland took an early lead when quick pass from Ben Afshar to Borderer Finn Douglas on the wing let him sprint past the USA defence and touch down over the white wash. Afshar got the extras.

The USA responded with a converted try and a penalty before a try from Findlay Thomson converted by Afshar brought the team up to one point ahead on the half time whistle.
After the restart Afshar slipped over the line then converted his own try.
And moments later the former Southern Knight did the same again.
The next Scottish try came shortly after when Afshar set up Andrew McLean to touch down over the white wash.

On the 66th minute, a unstoppable maul with Tait at the helm got the hooker over the line for his first try of the match and his teams sixth of the afternoon. Afshar completed his shift by converting.
The last ten minutes of play saw a lot of to-and-fro, but Scotland’s controlled defence secured their second win of the tournament.
