PASSENGERS taking the train from Tweedbank can once again enjoy delicious hot drink and tasty snack on board.

The former Born in the Borders kiosk has been taken over by Colombia Rose who opened this morning Friday July 21 2023.

The small chain currently operates at Corby, Great Yarmouth, Easton and Kenilworth and plan to open another at Dumbarton Central.

At present the shop will be open from 5.30am to 1.30pm seven days a week but that could change depending on customer demand.

And you don’t have to be a commuter to enjoy their product, coffee aficionados will no doubt discover their product.

CEO Carl Knight who has travelled the world in search of the perfect coffee said: “We opened this morning and already people seem happy and excited to see us.

“It’s an hour long trip to the capital with no catering on the train.

“Our whole business is built around Colombian Coffee which is the best in the world. It’s hugely popular amongst coffee drinkers those people who are not particularly into coffee appreciate it.
