GALA Fairydean Rovers came back from a goal down to secure a share of the points against high-flying Hearts B at Netherdale on Saturday.
Hearts came into the game with a 100% record and started on the front foot, and Jay Cantley did will to save from Harry Gordon then reacted sharply to stop Ryan Duncan’s follow up.

Bobby McLuckie then hit the bar and saw a goal correctly ruled out off for offside.
The host dominated possession but were restricted to a few long range efforts.
Makenzie Kirk fired narrowly wide from the edge of the area.
Then just before the break a Alan Smith got on the end of a long Danny Galbraith free-kick and was bundled to the ground inside the area. The whole crowd looked to the referee anticipating an inevitable penalty however he blew his whistle to indicate half time.

The second half started with a torrential shower of rain which affected the pitch.
Hearts took the lead in the 54th minute when Bobby McLuckie’s corner deflected off Ciaran Greene into the net.
Gala continued to press with both Liam Watt and Trialist going close for the Fairydean.
Martin Scott made a triple substitution for the last 20-minutes, bringing on young Sam Ostle and two trialists.
The equaliser arrived after 77 minutes when a trip on one of the trialists (No 22) in the Hearts box saw the referee point to the spot.
And Gala skipper Galbraith coolly dispatched the resultant penalty into the bottom right hand corner of the net.

Both teams had chances before the final whistle but in the end a draw was probably affair result.
