INNERLEITHEN company FINDRA’s Full Circle exhibition is ongoing at Textile Tower House Museum Hawick in the Scottish Borders.

The exhibition tells the story of how founder and CEO Alexandra Feechan launched FINDRA from her kitchen table, and through, passion determination, hard work and vision continue to build and progress our pioneering brand.

An avid cyclist and outdoor enthusiast, Alex noticed a lack of the kind of comfortable, versatile and stylish outdoor clothing she wanted to wear.

With more than 20 years’ experience at the sharp-end of the fashion industry working as a clothing designer, a 1st class honours degree in Industrial Design and Textiles and an MA in Fashion from the prestigious Royal College of Art, she knew she was the person to fill this gap in the market.

Border Telegraph: Findra Exhibition

All products are designed using natural or recycled fabrics from merino wool to innovative performance fabrics. All garments and accessories are easy to layer together and pack down small making them perfect for all outdoor adventures and travel as well as everyday life.

Based in the Tweed Valley in the heart of the Scottish Borders FINDRA is run from an old textile mill in Walkerburn. This location houses their warehouse and fulfilment as well as their design studio and office. The business also has a retail location on the High street of Innerleithen, where you can buy the products, drop in for a coffee and cake or even book a yoga class.

At the heart of FINDRA is a desire to design great clothing and build a community of like-minded individuals who love the outdoors.

As well as showcasing some of the brand's award-winning pieces of outdoor clothing visitors can also view a joyful visual display of the brand's journey since 2014 and its return in 2023 to a focus on empowering more women to lead an active lifestyle.

The exhibition runs until October 21. Entry free, donations welcome.
