FINES totalling £450 have been imposed on a fish factory worker who was involved in two disturbances with his partner.
Thirty-two-year-old John Chapman pleaded guilty to a charge of threatening or abusive during a phone to the woman in Eyemouth on May 26 by shouting and swearing and uttering threats of violence.
He also admitted threatening and abusive behaviour involving the same woman during a confrontation in Northburn Road, Eyemouth.
Chapman breached a court order by approaching and speaking to the woman.
In addition to the fines, a £30 victim surcharge was imposed at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
