THE annual charity rugby match in memory of former Earlston player Stewart Ramsay who tragically died in a crash on the A68 near St Boswells aged just 27 last year will take place today.

Organised by close friend and former teammate Mark Stewart, this year’s event will also include a disco and karaoke.

A ‘Rambo’ select team will play Earlston at the Haugh with kick off at 3pm.

Entry is free but spectators can make a donation.

Last year the match raised £7,500 which was divided equally between the charities Brake and Bloodbikes.
