A MAN who admitted embezzling more than £12,000 from a Borders car dealership has been given six months to repay the money.
Gordon Thomson was working at Lloyd Land Rover, on Pinnaclehill Industrial Estate in Kelso, when he committed the offence, on a number of occasions between April 2019 and May 2019.
Sentence was deferred on the 54-year-old, who gave an address in Musselburgh, to allow for full repayment of the £12,350 taken.
Thomson is due to return to Jedburgh Sheriff Court on February 26, 2024.
