A 29-YEAR-OLD man has admitted a series of offences at Selkirk Sheriff Court including engaging in a course of conduct which caused fear or alarm to a partner or ex-partner.

William Evans, formerly of Selkirk and now living near Leicester, accused the woman of infidelity, shouted and swore and made abusive remarks, installed cameras without her knowledge and made threats about suicide at an address in Selkirk between February 8 and March 23.

He also pleaded guilty to possessing £600 worth of a class A drug in Galashiels on July 25 last year and driving while disqualified and under the influence of cocaine in June last year.
