BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Galashiels man who caused a disturbance at Borders General Hospital.
Twenty-five-year-old Rory Lennon pleaded guilty to shouting and swearing at a medical doctor and acting towards him in an aggressive manner on November 5.
Sheriff Peter Paterson said bad behaviour at the hospital was totally unacceptable to the court.
He deferred sentence for a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment to see if there was an alternative to custody.
The case will recall at Selkirk Sheriff Court on September 19.
