A MAJOR expansion bid at a Peebles holiday park is on the agenda after a planning bid was submitted to Scottish Borders Council.
The project, put forward by London-based Darwin Escapes, could create up to 15 full-time jobs at Rosetta Holiday Park on Rosetta Road, as well as many more part-time roles.
The plan is to provide 100 holiday lodges, with provision of a new access route, proposed maintenance building, supporting infrastructure and alterations to the stables building to accommodate supporting facilities on land to the south east and west of the caravan park.
A public consultation event on the proposals was held at the town’s Eastgate Theatre at the end of June.
