A BORDERS teenager who admitted being in possession of a baseball bat has been placed on supervision for the next 12 months.
Nineteen-year-old Robbie Stewart, of Hawick, pleaded guilty to having the offensive weapon during an incident in his home street of McLagan Drive on August 12 last year.
A not guilty plea to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner was accepted by the Crown at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Peter Paterson said the sentence was an alternative to custody.
