A DRUG dealer from Hawick has been ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work as a direct alternative to a custodial sentence.
Daniel Chetwynd has also been told to stay in his Oliver Park home between the hours of 7pm and 6am for the next nine months.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to being concerned in the supply of cocaine at his home on December 15.
He also admitted a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour by shouting and swearing and uttering threats of violence.
