A BORDERS street is set to close in both directions for three days this week to facilitate resurfacing work.
Leaburn Drive in Hawick will close between 9am and 5pm on Monday September 18, Tuesday September 19 and Wednesday September 20.
There is no alternative route.

The closure was announced by Scottish Borders Council who said: “Where we're required to carry out planned maintenance on the road and bridge network, there may not always be enough space to allow a safe working area as well as allow vehicles through the works.

“Where this is the case a road closure is the only appropriate solution to address both traffic and pedestrian management.
“For further information on road works area please call 0300 100 1800.”
