A HAWICK street will close for two days this week to facilitate resurfacing work.
Mclagan Drive will be closed in both directions between 8.30am and 5pm on today Wednesday November 8 and Thursday November 9.

There is no alternative route.
The closure was announced by Scottish Borders Council who said: “Where we're required to carry out planned maintenance on the road and bridge network, there may not always be enough space to allow a safe working area as well as allow vehicles through the works.

"Where this is the case a road closure is the only appropriate solution to address both traffic and pedestrian management.
“For further information on road works area please call 0300 100 1800.”
