SCHEDULED resurfacing works due to take place on the A7 tonight Tuesday November 14 has been postponed.
The busy road was due to have been closed overnight from the Kingsknowe Roundabout on the outskirts of Galashiels to Selkirk between 7.30pm and 6am.

A spokesperson for Transport Scotland’s operating company, BEAR Scotland said that the reason for the postponement was due to the forecast of heavy rain.
It is anticipated that the work will resume on Wednesday November 15,
