POLICE in Kelso are investigating following a report of inappropriate verbal comments made to a female on October 30th whilst she was walking near to Rennie Bridge.
Extra police patrols have been carried out in the area.

Officers have since learned of concerns raised by members of the public regarding reports of ‘attacks’ on women in the area near the same bridge.
However then want to reassure the public that after enquiries, there have been no reports to police of physical attacks taking place on the streets in Kelso.
