A 32-YEAR-OLD man smashed the window of a house in Gala Park, Galashiels, on October 14 and was then involved in a bust-up with police.
Thomas Lees, of Kilnknowe Place, attempted to run away from officers and struggled with them.

Sheriff Peter Paterson said he was deferring sentence for three months to allow Lees the opportunity to save up money to pay for the damage to the window at his partner’s home.
The case will recall at Selkirk Sheriff Court on February 19.
