TWO vehicles were involved in a crash near to the Borders General Hospital yesterday evening, police have confirmed.
At around 4.15pm yesterday (Sunday, November 19) two vehicles were involved in a crash on the main road outside the hospital.
The A6091 remained closed for three hours until 7.30pm when it reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.15pm on Sunday, 19 November, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the main road outside Borders General Hospital.
"The road re-opened at 7.30pm."
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: "Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance and firefighters assisted by making the area safe before leaving the scene.
“There were no reported casualties.”
