THE A7 road is set to close for three days in Hawick to facilitate resurfacing work, starting this week.

The road will be closed near to the Dovemount Place roundabout between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Friday December 1, Monday December 4 and Tuesday December 5.

Southbound traffic will be diverted off the A7 from Selkirk via the A699, A68 and A698.
Northbound traffic will be diverted via Commercial Road to Dovemount Roundabout and Mart Street to then follow the A698, A68 and A699 diversion to Selkirk.
