PINES Burn Wind Farm has issued an abnormal load delivery update.

The next scheduled movement of a wind turbine blade today is Friday December 8.

Set off time is planned for 9am which is earlier that usual.

The blade is currently near St Boswells and will travel via the A68 to St Boswells, then via the A699 to Selkirk then south on the A7 to Hawick before continuing to the site which is located. approximately 6km Southwest of Bonchester Bridge and 8km South of Hawick.

 The blade delivery will be classed as an abnormal load and will be escorted by trained police officers.
