AN INVESTIGATION is underway after three people were injured in a two vehicle crash on the A1 near Berwick which took place around 6.10pm on Thursday December 7.
Northumbria Police are appealing for information following the collision, which happened less than a mile from the Scotland-England border.

A brown Ford Mondeo collided with a black Vauxhall Astra which was emerging from a junction.
The driver of the Mondeo, a man in his 80s, was treated at the scene for injuries which have been described as "serious but non life-threatening".
The male and female occupants of the Astra were taken to hospital, where their condition was described as critical

The road was closed for several hours to facilitate the investigation.
Northumbria Police's Motor Patrols Team are appealing to the public for information and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have evidence such as dash-cam footage.
