TWO people were taken to hospital following a crash on the A68 which took place around 12.30am on Christmas morning.

Emergency services responded to the two vehicle collision near Fala just north of Soutra Hill.

 

 

The road was closed for nearly four hours to facilitate an investigation and recovery of the vehicles.

Diversions were put in place and the road reopened around 4.20am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A68 near Fala around 12.30am on Monday, 25 December, 2023.

Two people were taken to hospital as a precaution and the road re-opened around 4.20am.”
