A SELKIRK man involved in a “stand-up fight” with another man has been placed on a night-time curfew at the town’s sheriff court.
Fifty-two-year-old Alan Scott will need to stay within his home address between the hours of 7pm and 5am for the next 200 days as an alternative to custody.
He pleaded guilty to assaulting the man to his permanent disfigurement during the disturbance on November 2022.
The court heard Scott had confronted the man about a screw being hammered into one of his car tyres.
