A NEW supermarket is set to move into the premises of a former Co-op supermarket and filling station.
Morrisons will open at the former Co-op supermarket and filling station on Melrose Road in Earlston next week.
From Thursday, January 26 Morrisons will be open with a new look.
A spokesperson from Morrisons said: "Alongside the fuel court, the new Morrisons Daily fresh food convenience store will offer customers a careful tailored mix of Morrisons own brand products alongside branded favourites.
"As well as new ranges, the store will receive a complete redesign internally and externally incorporating Morrisons bright, modern branding.
"Fresh food is at the heart of the store and we hope customers will love it."
The Co-op is now reportedly closed as Morrisons completes its refurbishment works ahead of reopening next Thursday.
