“ENQUIRIES are ongoing” after a sheep was injured in the Borders, say police.
The incident took place between 2pm and 3pm on Monday (February 5) at a farm near Duns and the B6461, according to officers.
Police Scotland has issued a public appeal for information.
A spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who may have any information to come forward.
“Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting incident 0543 of February 6, 2024, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
