SENTENCE has been deferred on a Hawick man who fired a BB gun at a stationary vehicle which had children in it and making them liable to injury.
Twenty-four-year-old Jacob Woods previously pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to a charge of culpable and reckless conduct following the offence at his home in Lovel Court on July 13 last year.
Woods’ not guilty plea to a charge of possession of cannabis at his home on July 13 was accepted by the Crown.
The case will recall on April 22 for a personal appearance and when background reports will be considered.
