IT was another great day at the races for the Gala Harriers at the Scottish 10-mile Championship.
The Tom Scott Memorial road race circumnavigates Strathclyde Loch. Despite being billed as flat, it featured a good few undulations.
In the women’s race, Sara Green was third overall and the first V40 in at 58 minutes and 47 seconds.
Pamela Baillie was 15th and the third V40 in a time of 1:04:51 in a strong showing for the Harriers.
Lisa Dalgliesh came in 59th overall and was the eighth V50 in 1:17:51. The ladies secured a team senior bronze.
Harrier Darrell Hastie was sixth overall in the men’s category and the second V40 in 51:29.
Next for the men was Marcus D’Agrosa in 22nd with a time of 55:12. Frank McElroy crossed in 1:02:45 to take 88th place.
Grant Dilasser was 129th in a time of 1:07:58 and James Dennison, hit by injury, jogged the last four miles to come in 175th.
Wearing the green and white for the juniors, Charlie Dalgliesh took on the 6km Round the Loch race and was the second u15 and eighth male overall in 23:53.
