A SELKIRK man has admitted driving a vehicle at a man in the town's High Street which struck him on the body.
Fifty-four-year-old Dominic Browne, of Raeburn Meadow, pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to the assault which happened on October 1 last year.
A not guilty plea to a second charge of abusive behaviour and uttering threats of violence was accepted by the Crown.
Browne, who is a full-time carer for his wife, was told by Sheriff Kevin McCarron that background reports would be required.
Sentence was deferred until June 10.
