SEVERAL applications for licences to sell booze will be considered by Scottish Borders Council’s Licensing Board when members meet this week.
Sagaya Limited is applying for a provisional off-sale licence for Chirnside Convenience Store and Post Office at Crosshill on Main Street West End.
Tempest Brewing Company has applied for an on-sale and off-sale licence for Unit 8A at Tweedside Park at Tweedbank, with the premises to incorporate a beer garden.
Further provisional licences are sought for The Cream Chimney coffee shop and bistro at 15 The Square in Kelso and Hawick Mart Street Service Station.
The Licensing Board is to meet on Friday, May 24, from 10am.
