A BORDERS man has been ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work after being found guilty of being in possession of more than £2,000 worth of cannabis with intent to supply.
National Crime Agency officers recovered around 11 and a half ounces of the class B drug and £295 in cash from 34-year-old Scott Murray’s car during a raid on his home at Castle Mains Farm in Duns on September 23, 2022.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard they had “surrounded” the property after being granted a warrant relating to a firearms enquiry.
