THE annual Threepwood Ride Out returned on Friday evening.
The event, which celebrates the relationship between Galashiels and Lauder, dates back to the beginning of the Braw Lads’ Gathering.
Cheered on by crowds along the route, Braw Lad Jamie Bell, Braw Lass Rebecca Grieve and their Attendants left Gala in a mounted cavalcade shortly before 6pm.
Their group, which consisted of dozens of riders, headed to Threepwood Crossroads to exchange greetings with Lauder Cornet Ryan Murray and his Lass Lara Tice.
