SENTENCE has been deferred on a Kelso man who admitted three offences in a bust-up with a neighbour.
Forty-one-year-old Roderick Kennedy, of Roxburgh Place, pleaded guilty to damaging the doorbell of a neighbouring property with a screwdriver on February 4.
He also admitted possession of an offensive weapon, namely a screwdriver, and threatening or abusive behaviour by shouting and swearing, acting in an aggressive manner and uttering offensive remarks.
The case will recall at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on June 17 when he has another matter calling.
